Banana Waffles recipe
Ingredients:
3 medium eggs.
2 cups of all-purpose flour.
1 ½ cups of milk.
1 cup of mashed ripe banana.
3 tablespoons of shortening.
2 tablespoons of sugar.
3 teaspoons of baking powder.
1 teaspoon of salt.
Syrup, to serve with.
Directions:
Sift the flour, then add the other dry ingredients and sift again.
Beat the eggs, add the milk and the shortening, then pour into the dry ingredients.
Add mashed bananas and beat until smooth.
Using about half a cup of batter for each waffle, baking in a hot waffle iron until golden brown.
Serve with hot syrup.
