Baked Banana Crumble recipe
Ingredients:
4 ripe bananas, peeled.
¾ cup of orange juice.
¾ cup of brown sugar.
½ cup of flour.
½ cup of quick-cook oatmeal.
6 tablespoons of cold butter, cut into 6 pieces.
1 teaspoon of vanilla.
½ teaspoon of nutmeg.
½ teaspoon of salt.
Directions:
Combine the orange juice and vanilla; set aside.
Slice the bananas lengthways and place cut side up in four buttered baking dishes.
Combine the flour, brown sugar, quick-cook oatmeal, nutmeg and salt. Add butter. Using a pastry blender or two knives, blend until mixture resembles small peas.
Drizzle the bananas with the orange juice mixture.
Spoon crumble mixture over top of the bananas.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes.
Serve warm with ice cream.
